Murren Kennedy is an actor and narrator who has performed on stages in the Pacific Northwest over the past 15 years. As a graduate of The Actors Conservatory in Portland, Oregon, Murren is especially drawn to grounded stories of fantasy, science fiction, and speculative fiction. As a bit of an Anglophile, he has a particular taste for stories in the British Isles, and enjoys tapping into his skill with British accents.
Murren grew up in a performing family, with a musician father who brought many books to life with his voice, from the Redwall series to Ender’s Game. Murren started off on the music path as well, learning the viola, guitar, and drums before discovering acting (and Shakespeare in particular) as a teen and never looking back.
